Old Hundred is pleased to announce the release of their second full-length album ‘Time in the Wild’. The record will be released on Labor Day weekend with shows on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1 at the Kobo Bar in Columbus, Ohio.
Paste Magazine named Old Hundred one of the “10 Ohio Bands You Should Listen to Now” in April of 2012. In May, the band performed at the Nelsonville Music Festival alongside Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird, and M. Ward. They will perform this September at the Midpoint Music Festival featuring Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, and more. They were also selected as the “Best Local Band of 2010″ by Columbus Underground voters. They have also opened for Mumford and Sons, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Dawes, Phosphorescent, Horse Feathers, and many more.
‘Time in the Wild’ is being released with help from Wide-Eyed Records, a Columbus-based music collective and label. The record was recorded at 3 Elliot Studios in Athens, Ohio and was mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering. You can grab the record at the Labor Day Weekend release shows, or from the band now!
