Best Addition to Cleveland's Music Scene
We are both humbled and proud to have been named as the best addition to Cleveland's music scene by Cleveland Scene Magazine! There are a lot of really great things going on in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame City's music scene, so this is a great honor!

Incidentally, our next door neighbor, Indigo Imp Brewery, won Best New Brew. Life can never be too rough when you are right next door to a great microbrewery...

Wonderful Vinyl Sonic Art
Artist Christian Marclay does some pretty amazing work with found sounds, oftentimes using scratches, pops and warped records in a way that would make most audiophiles cringe. He really explores the concept of sound and how it influences us.
Record Shopping in the East Village
Those flat, round, black things with the hole in the middle that your father keeps stacked in his man cave: they’re called vinyl records.

Customer Highlight: HotChaCha
Gotta Groove just finished printing the LP jackets for the new HotChaCha album being released by Exit Stencil Recordings in November. Check them out here!
Customer Highlight: The Deathers & Freedom
GG pressed the Deathers/Freedom split 12" record in time for the Now That's Class Convention in Cleveland-- this was actually the first official Gotta Groove pressing! Now, we certainly don't like to brag, but this customer had some comments to share about our work that we'd like to share (being our first pressing and all):
"The records sound really good. Full, deep, very little surface noise. Wonderful!" -- Paul from The Deathers
The Deathers and Freedom can be experienced live at various venues in Cleveland and beyond! (Upcoming shows: the Deathers play the Grog Shop in Cleveland on Nov 29 with Melt Banana, and Freedom play Oct 17 at the Grog Shop with HotChaCha, Founding Fathers, and Uno Lady).
